WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication)

WebRTC is an open-source project and W3C/IETF standard that enables real-time audio, video, and data communication directly between browsers and apps without plugins. It powers the video call infrastructure in Google Meet, Discord, and many other platforms. WebRTC includes DTLS-SRTP encryption by default, making it inherently secure.
